What it costs

Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade: from £45, labour only.

A genuine Windows 10 licence normally upgrades to Windows 11 at no charge. Some older licences do not qualify, and a new Windows licence may then be needed on top. We will tell you before any work starts.

Where the work is done

Most upgrades are best carried out in our workshop in Worcester, where we have the tools and the time to test everything properly. Many smaller upgrades and repairs can be carried out at your home or office, by arrangement. Whether a job can be done on site depends on what is needed, and we will confirm when you get in touch. Larger jobs, such as deep cleaning, are carried out in our workshop.

Collection and delivery is available locally, by arrangement.

Will I lose my files and programs?

The upgrade keeps your files and most programs. As a sensible precaution, we make sure your important files are safe before we begin.

My computer is not compatible with Windows 11. What can I do?

We will tell you why, and what the options are. Sometimes a hardware change makes it eligible. If it does not, we will help you choose a sensible replacement.

Is the upgrade free?

Microsoft offers Windows 11 free to eligible computers with a genuine Windows 10 licence. You pay for our time. If your licence does not qualify, a new licence is extra.
