How it works

    Choose your parts

    Use our Build your own PC page, which checks that the parts fit together, or ring us with your own list and we will check it. If you would rather we order everything in, we can: we order your parts once your payment has cleared. Or you can have your own parts delivered to us.

    Book a session

    Ring us on 01905 673738 and we will fix a day and time when we can give you our full attention. The parts can all come to the shop.

    Come round and build it together

    We explain what each part does and show you how to fit it, and you do the building, with us beside you.

    Test it and take it home

    We switch it on, check it is running properly and talk you through anything you need to know.

What it costs

A guided build session is £60, for up to about three hours of one-to-one help at the shop. The price is the same whether your parts come from us or from somewhere else, and it covers checking your parts list beforehand. Parts are charged separately at our shop prices.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience?

No. Most people who come to us have never built a PC before. We show you every step and explain the reasons as we go.

Can I bring parts I have bought elsewhere?

Yes. Ring us first with the list so we can check that everything is compatible before you come.

Can you order the parts for me?

Yes. We order your parts in and they come to the shop. We order them once your payment has cleared.

How long does it take?

Please allow about three hours for your first build. It depends on the parts and how much you want to learn as we go.

What if something is wrong with a part?

Better to find out during the build than at home. If a part is faulty we will tell you, and help you sort a replacement.
