About Corsair

Corsair was founded in California in 1994 and is headquartered in Milpitas. It began with memory and has grown into a broad PC hardware and gaming brand, covering memory modules, power supplies, cases, cooling, keyboards, mice and headsets. It also owns Elgato, known for streaming and capture equipment.

In the PCs we build, Corsair parts often go in the case, cooling and memory, and sometimes the power supply. Many of its fans, lighting and cooling products are managed through Corsair's iCUE software, so parts from one range are designed to work together. We build, test and support each PC we make.

Cases deserve a careful look, because a case has to fit your motherboard size, graphics card length and cooler height. Memory must match the type your motherboard accepts, DDR4 or DDR5. Peripherals such as keyboards, mice and headsets are simpler: check the connection, wired, wireless or Bluetooth, and that your PC supports it.

Choosing Corsair parts

  • Check the case's supported motherboard sizes, maximum graphics card length and CPU cooler height against your parts before you buy.
  • Buy memory that matches your motherboard: DDR4 and DDR5 are different and cannot be swapped. The motherboard's product page tells you which it takes.
  • If you want a liquid cooler, check that your case has space for the radiator size at the front, top or rear.
  • For wireless keyboards, mice and headsets, check whether they use a USB receiver, Bluetooth or both, so they suit your PC.

What Corsair products do you stock?

Do I need iCUE software to use Corsair parts?

Not for the parts to work. Fans, coolers and peripherals generally run without it. iCUE is Corsair's software for controlling lighting, fan speeds and some settings, so it is only needed if you want to adjust those.

Will a Corsair case fit my motherboard and graphics card?

Each case lists the motherboard sizes it supports and the longest graphics card it takes. Compare those to your parts. If you are not sure, ring us with the model names and we will check them for you.
