Warranty

Warranty on this computer

4 years parts and 5 years labour on the whole computer, from us, on top of your legal rights. Parts: if a part fails in the first 4 years we replace it for nothing (the graphics card’s own warranty sets this, plus 1 extra year from us; where another part’s maker gives less, we still cover it). Labour: for 5 years we do the work for nothing whenever the part is one you bought from us, for a repair or an upgrade. We confirm the length in writing when you buy. See the Custom Build Terms (section 6) for what is and is not covered.

Free fitting of upgrades

For 5 years from the day you collect your computer, you buy an upgrade part from us and we fit it for free, at our shop: more memory, a bigger drive, a better graphics card or a Wi-Fi card. You pay for the part; we do not charge for the labour. Simple fitting jobs (about an hour); it does not cover recovering or moving your data. Ring us to book a time.

New items carry the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.

Components returned for warranty must be in original condition and packaging where reasonable.

Warranty remedies are repair, replacement or refund. It does not cover accidental or liquid damage, power surges, or faults caused by software the customer installed. Full details are in our Terms & conditions (sections 5 and 9).
